Girl Scouts Workshop: Accordion Sketchbooks
At The New Children's Museum in Downtown
Sun, Dec 6 · 10am–noon
Make a one-of-a-kind accordion sketchbook from recycled and upcycled materials. Scouts take inspiration from collaborating artists Panca and Wes Bruce, personalize covers with collage and paint markers, learn age-appropriate folding methods, add a ribbon or string closure, then share their finished books.
Registration is for a troop of 10–50 Scouts; a 1:5 chaperone-to-scout ratio is required, with chaperones included free. Materials are provided. Museum admission is not included; a self-guided museum visit can be added. Advance online registration is required; full payment is due at booking and is non-refundable.
